Service to supply aesthetic veneers in Omsk

Veneers are specially shaped dentures that are attached to the front (visible) surface of the tooth enamel. They are made mainly from ceramics and composite materials. Veneer technology is applicable if correction of one, two or several teeth from the so-called “smile line” is required. These are the front teeth that become visible when a person smiles, that is, 10 upper and 8 lower.

The most difficult issue when installing veneers is the choice of material. Each has its own varieties. What it will be, ceramics or composite veneers (ceramics, for example, is divided into several types depending on the material), should be decided together with the dentist. The doctor will advise which material is suitable for the patient based on the diagnosis and physiological characteristics.

There are several technologies for making veneers. Ceramics are made either by layer-by-layer application or by pressing. The layer-by-layer method is more thorough and longer. The veneers are very durable and aesthetically pleasing. According to all the rules, composite veneers are made only in a dental laboratory.

When and for what dental defects is it recommended to install veneers?

So, veneers are installed when:

  • The surface of the front teeth has noticeable imperfections (irregularities, cracks, chips, stains);
  • There are fillings on the front teeth that greatly spoil the aesthetics of the smile;
  • Teeth grow unevenly or there are unsightly spaces between them;
  • As a result of injury, part of the tooth is missing;
  • Tooth enamel is not amenable to conventional whitening methods.

The main contraindications to the installation of this type of microprosthesis, such as veneers, can be:

  • Weakening of the root system of the teeth;
  • Too thin layer of enamel;
  • Bruxism (grinding teeth during sleep);
  • Direct bite.

Caries can also be a conditional contraindication to the installation of veneers. First, you should cure the carious areas, and then begin to correct other imperfections using veneering.

When should you get veneers?

Before wondering how much it costs to install veneers on teeth, you should determine whether the products can really solve the problem. At the Ulybka dental clinic, indications for dental restoration with onlays are often:

  • noticeable yellowness of the tooth surface;
  • change in enamel color as a result of pulp removal;
  • fluorosis;
  • erosion of the enamel coating;
  • erosion of the enamel coating;
  • abnormal shape of elements;
  • discrepancy between the color of old fillings and the shade of enamel;
  • chipped teeth;
  • large interdental spaces;
  • incorrect position of units in a row.

In our clinic in Omsk, veneers are not installed if the patient has the following contraindications:

  • loss of 6-7 chewing elements;
  • large filling on the inside of the tooth;
  • significant destruction of the unit by the language;
  • pathological abrasion of teeth;

You can familiarize yourself with the full list of contraindications by making an appointment with us for an initial examination.

Our dentist makes a conclusion about the impossibility of fixing the structures based on diagnostic data and the patient’s medical history.

Prices for different types of veneers

The cost of veneers can vary significantly depending on the materials used in the manufacturing process. The cost of manufacturing and installing high-quality veneers is quite high, but it is fully justified by the highest aesthetic characteristics and the long service life of such structures (more than 10 years). During this time, ceramic veneers will not change their original color and appearance. A more budget-friendly option would be to install veneers made from composite materials.

Ceramics: porcelain veneers. The most common types of ceramics in dental prosthetics are:

  1. Porcelain;
  2. Zirconium dioxide.

The cost of porcelain veneers includes the work of the dentist and dental technician who will create temporary and permanent veneers. A temporary structure must be made. To install a thin porcelain plate, which is a veneer, the tooth enamel needs to be slightly ground. During this procedure, a very thin layer is removed, but this is quite enough to increase the sensitivity of the tooth. At the same time, an aggressive environment (bacteria, food, drinks) is constantly present in the human mouth. If a ground tooth is left unprotected while a porcelain veneer is being made, this environment will erode the sensitive enamel. For this reason, it is protected with a temporary resin veneer. Then it changes to permanent, ceramic. The whole process is quite labor-intensive, but it's worth it. The smile in the end will be simply dazzling.

Ceramic “plates” can be made either by layer-by-layer application or by casting. The latter involves pressing the material at high temperature and under pressure (pressed ceramics). Porcelain, applied in layers, looks almost like real tooth enamel. Pressed ceramics are also extremely aesthetically pleasing, but they are also extremely durable and will not crack or splinter when impacted by teeth.

Veneers in a box. Truth or deception?

Yes, the topic of the review for many is not only interesting and a warning about another deception and an attempt to make money on us, especially those who are ignorant in this matter. But it is also very painful for some in the literal sense - for example, people like me. Dentistry is my second home. Or, in another way, you can say that I go there almost as if I were going to work. From the elementary grades of Soviet childhood! Imagine what I had to endure over several decades, learn about new and old technologies, understand X-rays myself, where I can determine, just as well as a doctor, whether there is inflammation or a cyst on a tooth or not... I’m not deceiving you, readers. Pure truth. I also had to learn what implantology is. Moreover, not only theoretically, but also in practice. A terrible horror, which is quite painful, very long-term, completely devastating for the wallet and, moreover, without a guarantee “for life”. I think that when I find the time, I will write a horror story review on this topic... Someone will ask why I am listing my dental sufferings and exploits, but those who have little idea of my situation, based on their own, have already realized that , personally, I will never buy any teeth in a box for 490 rubles1 even if they offer me such miracle veneers for free. They are completely unwearable! Of course, there are many gullible people and they, not knowing the intricacies of medicine, can believe in miracle technologies and risk ordering such veneers. Someone will be tempted by the price if there is no big money. But you need to understand that simply removing the nerve and treating pulpitis can cost ten thousand or more. What kind of Hollywood for 490 rubles can we talk about? Even if you take the more expensive option, it’s all the same - everyone has a different jaw structure, a different bite, and a different size of teeth. And with age, the number of remaining teeth varies. Plus individual features that can only be shown by a computed tomography scan and seen by an experienced doctor. Well, in one go you can only do professional cleaning or cure superficial caries, and then...How can you be so naive? Advertisements for veneers sometimes appear sporadically in my gadgets, and sometimes they obsessively bare their teeth. I didn’t even have the thought of not only buying such products, but also reading about what they wanted from me. So it's clear. Apparently, given the restrictions and recommendations to go less to crowded places, which can also include clinics, the scammers decided to help deliver teeth directly to your home. Well, so that we don’t run to clinics. And those who are afraid of pain and for this reason do not go and do not have their teeth treated on time, would also be glad to see a quick solution to their problems. No, this is not the case. If you want to be healthy and have a beautiful smile, then save money and choose a competent doctor. Of course, it is also necessary to take care of them from childhood. But I, for example, have weak genetics. and no matter how I take care of them, no matter how carefully I treat them and give away, one might say, a huge amount of money for treatment, prosthetics, implants... they cannot be called beautiful and family... The highest technologies are probably available to the richer... but for 490 rubles I don't need anything either. Be careful in your choice.

Zirconium veneers

This type of veneers is much more expensive. Zirconium veneers are the most durable. When zirconia is fired, it is fused under pressure and temperature into a monolithic frame. The strength of such a product is equal only to the strength of the metal.

For the manufacture of such structures, computer-controlled machines and state-of-the-art CAD/CAM technology are used. First, a super-strong zirconium frame is made using 3D milling. Then a thin layer of porcelain is fused onto it, which further enhances the resemblance of the veneer to real enamel.

Composite veneers

Composite structures are the most cost-effective. They are made from filling materials; a dental laboratory is not used for this in Russia. The dentist-therapist makes such veneers directly “on the spot”, i.e. in the patient's mouth. In fact, this procedure is a regular restoration and has nothing to do with veneers.

According to the rules, composite veneers, like any other, are made only by a dental technician in appropriate laboratory conditions. To do this, first an impression of the patient's teeth is taken.

Since composite veneers have many disadvantages (short service life, fragility of the structure, rapid darkening of its color), they have long been abandoned in all progressive countries. In Russia, this method of correcting tooth enamel is still practiced. This is connected, of course, with economic nuances. It seems more profitable to the patient (although in reality this is not the case), and the doctor’s salary directly depends on the number of patients treated.

Another argument in favor of fake veneers, which are “created” literally in the patient’s mouth, is the lack of a normal dental laboratory in the clinic. The price of fake composite veneers is much lower than that of a normal composite veneer made in a laboratory.

Ultra-thin and Hollywood veneers

All described types of correction are performed only after preliminary grinding of the top layer of enamel. This process is called preparation. If for some reason preparation is not desired, an ultra-thin veneer, or lumineer, can be installed. Its thickness reaches 0.2-0.3 mm. This is one of the most expensive correction methods.

Another type of ceramic veneers is Hollywood. They are considered the most high-quality type of tooth enamel correction, allowing you to achieve the effect of a real Hollywood smile. They are most often made of porcelain, their cost is even higher.
